Finding Carla Guest Speaker 2024 NRSA Supernationals
I was delighted to be invited as a guest speaker at the 2024 NSRA Supernationals at Old Warden, Bedfordshire, to talk about my travels and my book, Finding Carla, after which followed a Q and A and book signing. This is an excerpt from that talk.
My chat was well received, so clearly one glass of wine is the optimum amount to make a decent maiden speech! Thank you Hannah Thomas of HT Automotive PR for filming the video and the National Street Rod Association (https://nsra.org.uk) for inviting me.
I also had a trade stall at that event and spoke to many people about my travels, many of whom also bought the book. Thank you! A real morale booster came from readers who had already bought Finding Carla previously. I particularly love the reaction I get from men, who cannot hide their surprise that they enjoyed it!
